NFA/Class III Purchase Process
1. Select item to purchase.
You may purchase your NFA item through Lake County Arms or transfer it from other licensed dealers (FFLs) or private individuals.
2. Complete required documentation.
Visit the Silencer Shop kiosk in our store and follow the registration process or manually complete ATF Form 4473.
3. Set up your ATF eforms account.
Head to the eforms.atf.gov site, complete your eform application, create your profile, and follow their step-by-step process.
The fee for NFA Firearm Transfers is $100 for silencers. The fee for NFA Firearm Transfers is $150 for Machine Guns (MG), Short Barrel Rifles (SBR), Short Barrel Shotguns (SBS), Destructive Devices (DD), and Any Other Weapons (AOW). All fees are due upon ATF Approval and firearm pick up.
Where can I go to get a concealed weapons permit?

What if my consignment item does not sell?
If you take possession of a consignment item that did not sell, an ATF Form 4473 background check must be completed before the firearm will be released. A $5 fee will be assessed for the background check. If you do not have a valid Florida Concealed Weapons Permit, a 72-hour (3 Business Day) wait must be completed.
What are the fees for transfers?
$35 for up to two handguns, rifles, or shotguns, then $5 for each additional item. Class 3/NFA transfers are $100 per item due to the extra time in preparation of forms and storage.
