Lake County Arms is a local gun shop in Mount Dora, Florida that caters to all aspects of the shooting world. We carry a wide variety of products from concealed carry handguns, military surplus firearms and antiques, to the latest tactical rifles (shotguns).

Our services
NFA/Class 3
Silencers and Class 3 have always been legal, just federally regulated. We specialize in faciliating the purchase of Class 3/NFA items such as silencers, machine guns, and short barrel rifles (shotguns). We are a Silencer Shop selected dealer and have a kiosk in our shop that allows you to easily complete the required documentation to purchase these items.
Consignment
We will consign your item in store for 20% of the total sales price. Market value sales price will be determined by us at the time of consignment. We check multiple sources to find a fair market price to facilitate a quick sale. The consignment period will be a minimum of two calendar months. A $25 penalty fee will be applied if consignment is terminated earlier than 2 months.
Online listings
Internet auction websites such as Gunbroker, Ebay, and many others open up a large marketplace to sell firearms or firearm related items. Our 5% listing fees will be assessed on top of the consignment fee of 20% a total of 25%.
Cleaning
We offer handgun and rifle (shotgun) maintenance services that include disassembly, cleaning, oiling, reassembly, and function testing. Handgun cleaning is $15 per item and rifle (shotgun) cleaning is $30 per item. All firearm cleanings include examination for worn or broken parts and recommendations for replacement when necessary.

We can special order the firearm, accessory, ammo, or Class 3/NFA item you are looking for. Please provide a manufacturer’s part number to help avoid confusion when ordering. Special orders may take up to 1 month to receive, but are often quicker. All special orders are to be paid in full at the time of order and are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

What are the Class 3 purchasing fees?
The fee for NFA Firearm Transfers is $100 for silencers. The fee for NFA Firearm Transfers is $150 for Machine Guns (MG), Short Barrel Rifles (SBR), Short Barrel Shotguns (SBS), Destructive Devices (DD), and Any Other Weapons (AOW). All fees are due upon ATF Approval and firearm pick up.
Where can I go to get a concealed weapons permit?
We recommend Ares Firearms Training in Leesburg, FL. Check out their website at aresfirearmstraining.com for more information.
What if my consignment item does not sell?
If you take possession of a consignment item that did not sell, an ATF Form 4473 background check must be completed before the firearm will be released. A $5 fee will be assessed for the background check. If you do not have a valid Florida Concealed Weapons Permit, a 72-hour (3 Business Day) wait must be completed.
What are the fees for transfers?
$35 for up to two handguns, rifles, or shotguns, then $5 for each additional item. Class 3/NFA transfers are $100 per item due to the extra time in preparation of forms and storage.
